Outside the Workplace
Those who walk in and out of the doors of a business or organization may be known employees or unknown customers. Someone entering a religious facility or non-employment location or public event is not always known to those already at the location. How then to assess threat or formulate a policy of prevention? The confluence of factors in society, such as a culture of violence and gun ownership, the consequences of historically significant areas of poverty and unequal access, and individual factors of mental health, emotions, or predisposition, go together to preclude meaningful large-scale threat assessment, let alone specific prediction about someone entering a geo-temporal space.
